Brock Purdy is kicking off the offseason as a married man.
The 49ers quarterback wed fiancée Jenna Brandt on Saturday in Des Moines, Iowa, roughly a month after San Francisco faced the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl 2024.
The couple, who announced their engagement in July 2023, celebrated their union “with upwards of 350 guests,” according to TMZ, which noted there were multiple buses for transportation.
Purdy, 24, looked dapper in a black tux while his bride opted for a stunning strapless gown with her hair styled in an updo.
The nuptials took place just weeks after Purdy and the 49ers fell to the Chiefs in overtime in Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.
The second-year quarterback, once dubbed “Mr. Irrelevant” as the final pick (No. 262 overall) in the 2022 NFL Draft, threw for 255 yards and one touchdown in the 25-22 loss.
Despite the outcome, Brandt reminded Purdy in a heartfelt tribute days after the game that there was much to be “thankful for.”
“What a season to be proud & thankful for,” Brandt posted on Instagram.
Purdy originally met Brandt at Iowa State University, per People, before she transferred to the University of Northern Iowa.
She played volleyball at both institutions.
It’s been an exciting few years for Purdy, who was thrust into action in late 2022 to relieve then-injured 49ers starter Jimmy Garoppolo.
He led the 49ers to an NFC Championship berth in January 2023 but exited the game early due to an elbow injury in what was a 31-7 loss to the Eagles.
Purdy retained the starting job in 2023, with San Francisco ultimately advancing to the Super Bowl.
“Won together and lost together. Did it with my boys. Keep the Faith,” Purdy posted on Instagram last week, to which Brandt replied, “What a year. Love you my boy.”
