Rural-focused e-clinics chain CureBay scored another Rs 620 million ($7.5 million) in funding as part of a Series A round led by Elevar Equity. This comes on top of the first $6 million it raised in 2022.
According to their press release, the additional funds will be used to invest in their membership programme by hiring over 200 data scientists and experts in pharmacy and diagnostics. It will also help drive their expansion activities, targeting to increase their e-clinics across underserved communities in India to 200 from over 90 at present.
Technology-enabled mental health platform Amaha, formerly InnerHour, bagged over Rs 50 million ($6 million) in an extended Series A funding round.
This latest raise will support its strategic expansion plans, said founder and CEO Dr Amit Malik in a statement.
Amaha offers a mobile mental health app which is now used by over five million users. It features more than 600 self-care tools and over a thousand content on building healthy habits. The organisation’s mental health ecosystem also provides treatment for a range of mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, schizophrenia, and addictions.
Insurance tech startup Healspan raised Rs 1.2 million (over $100,000) in pre-seed funding from a round led by startup accelerator PedalStart.
Founded in 2022, Healspan offers a SaaS platform for managing cashless health insurance claims. Over 60 hospitals across India have adopted its solution to date.
Its fresh funds will be used to make “significant” product and tech-related enhancements and upgrades, particularly optimising its software’s front end. It will also be used to hire some core members, a media release noted.
Chronic pain digital therapeutics platform FlexifyMe has received undisclosed pre-seed funding from angel platform ah! Ventures.
In a statement, the startup, which is also backed by Flipkart Ventures, mentioned that they will deploy their latest funds to enhance further their AI motion coach by making it available in more local Indian languages, as well as expanding their reach across North America and the Middle East and North Africa regions.
AI-driven health solutions provider DocOsage has also received undisclosed pre-seed funding to refine its AI capabilities for health insights.
It will also use the funds to conduct early-stage testing for its telehealth and genetic studies platform, a press release said.
Launched about three months ago, the startup features an AI service that provides personalised health insights. It also offers diagnostic test bookings and home medicines delivery and enables medical report sharing.
