Money has continued to pour in on the Chiefs as Super Bowl 2024 in Las Vegas approaches.
Kansas City is getting the majority of bets against the spread in all 20 states plus Washington D.C., according to data shared with The Post by BetMGM Sportsbook on Thursday.
There are five times as many bets on the Chiefs to win than there are on the 49ers at BetMGM.
Overall, the Chiefs are getting nearly three-fourths of both the tickets and handle on the spread, with 73 percent of bets and 74 percent of money going their way.
The public is even more in on the Chiefs on the moneyline.
A whopping 84 percent of bets and 77 percent of the handle are on Kansas City to win the Super Bowl for the second straight season.
The Chiefs, of course, are very popular with bettors in the midwest.
In Kansas, specifically, 93 percent of bets and 95 percent of the money is on the Chiefs to cover the spread.
After the Chiefs opened as 2.5-point underdogs, the line briefly moved to Chiefs +1 before settling in at +2 as of Friday afternoon.
While they aren’t a popular bet this week, sports bettors flocked to the 49ers all season.
BetMGM told The Post earlier this week that 16.7% of all Super Bowl futures bets were on San Francisco, the most of any team in the NFL.
The total for Super Bowl 58 opened at 47 points and has since nudged up to 47.5 points.
Betting on the NFL?
Roughly 70 percent of the bets and money are on the Over at BetMGM.
Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes remains the favorite to win Super Bowl MVP (+125) despite Kansas City being underdogs heading into the Big Game.
49ers signal-caller Brock Purdy (+220) has the second-best odds behind Mahomes, followed by San Francisco running back Christian McCaffrey (+450).
