Kyle Filipowski is still feeling the effects from his scary court-storming collision that injured his right knee this past Saturday against Wake Forest.

His status is uncertain for No. 10 Duke’s home game against Louisville on Wednesday night.

“And with ‘Flip,’ he’s just not 100 percent after what happened. He’s not himself,” Duke head coach Jon Scheyer said on “Fast Break with Jon Scheyer” on Monday night.

“Hopefully, he takes another step (Tuesday) and he can be ready for Wednesday. But both of those guys (Filipowski and freshman guard Caleb Foster) are not where they were going into that game.”

Filipowski found himself in an uncomfortable spot Saturday when fans stormed the court after Wake Forest upset Duke, 83-79.

As fans rushed the floor, one fan collided with Filipowski, who then had to be helped off the floor.

Filipowski said he believed the collision was “intentional.”

Scheyer doubled down Monday on his take from Saturday that leagues and teams need to defend their players from these type of precarious situations.

“It’s a problem,” Scheyer said on his radio show. “No player should be put in a position where they have to show restraint with fans on the court. The court is for the players and the coaches, not for fans, not for students, not for anybody else, and that wasn’t a good thing.

“After the game, I just felt strongly to talk about it because we have to do something now before something really bad can happen.”

While Duke should handle woeful Louisville even if Filipowski misses the game, the Blue Devils’ postseason hopes ride on his health.

Filipowski is one of the best players in the country, averaging 16.9 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Duke still has home games on tap against Virginia and No. 9 North Carolina prior to the ACC Tournament.
