Chris Fuss Joins Foster-Caviness as Vice President of Sales & Marketing

GREENSBORO, NC, February 26, 2024 – Foster-Caviness has added produce industry leader Chris Fuss to its team as vice president of sales and marketing.

Throughout his 32 years in the produce industry, Fuss has gained extensive knowledge to develop and grow strong, positive relationships and looks forward to carrying out the Foster vision of “Being THE supply chain solution between people and their food.”

“I am very excited to have Chris on my executive team. He is imminently qualified to lead our strategic relationships, bring our new suite of brands to market, and lead our efforts to tell our story….we are fostering better ways to bring people and food together. He is a dear friend, loving husband, and a true servant leader. Plus, he is a lot of fun to work with! Watch out mid-Atlantic, Foster is on the move.” said Scott Bland, CEO.

Fuss comes to Foster-Caviness from Sunrise Fresh Produce, where he served as president since 2022.  Prior to that role, Fuss was regional manager with the company for 13 years.

Fuss has been an avid foodie from the tender age of 8, when he would sell vegetables from his parents’ garden.  His food service career includes waiting tables, catering, restaurant owner, broadline and produce-specific food sales.
