Erin Andrews’ offseason isn’t going as planned.
In the latest installment of her and Charissa Thompson’s “Calm Down” podcast, Andrews, a veteran sideline reporter for Fox Sports, explained that she’s trying to bounce back from “a weird rut” that has her feeling like “s–t” after the 2023 NFL season.
“This mom is in a rut,” said Andrews, who welcomed a baby boy, Mack, via surrogate with husband Jarret Stoll last summer. “I’m just in a rut with everything, the way I look, the way I’m dressing myself. I look like s–t.
“I think maybe it has to do with not working [NFL sideline reporting] right now even though I am working right now. Maybe it’s not having to dress up, get your makeup done, get your hair done all the time.”
Andrews went on to explain that she sought fashion inspiration from TikTok and tried to put together an outfit for a recent dinner.
“I leave 20 minutes for myself to get ready and I wear the same s–t and I look stupid,” she said. “… I am just in this weird rut.”
Thompson, 41, chimed in and said she felt Andrews’ feelings were normal, and suggested she get new workout clothes to boost her motivation.
“I got them, but the working out is fine,” Andrews, 45, said. “I’ll go and work out all day long and I’ll feel great about that. I was like ‘s–t I gotta even work out in Montana because I’m in a thing here and I even feel bad about my body a little bit… I gotta bounce out of it.”
Andrews is also busy being a first-time mom to her and Stoll’s son Mack, who will turn one in July — and she’s the founder of WEAR by Erin Andrews, a sports apparel and accessories brand for women.
She “quietly” re-signed with Fox on a three-year deal in July 2022 after her longtime colleagues, Joe Buck and Troy Aikman, left the network for ESPN.
Thompson, who also serves as the host of Thursday Night Football” on Amazon’s Prime Video, owns a ranch, Ruby Ranch, and has a home and interior design business.
