Some beef is brewing between Malik Nabers and Trevon Diggs.
The Cowboys cornerback reposted a video on X of Nabers, the Giants’ 2024 first-round pick, saying he couldn’t wait to face Diggs in the NFL in May during the NFLPA Rookie Premiere event, kicking off the feud that spilled into the public view Tuesday.
Diggs, a two-time Pro Bowler, doubled down, posting again on X minutes later: “Giants been getting belt for some years now.”
Nabers was quick to respond, reposting the same video on X, this time with a coffin emoji.
The back-and-forth got uglier from there when Nabers posted a screenshot of song lyrics from “Boot Up” by NBA YoungBoy in a now-deleted X post.
“P—-y want to Insta’ beef, he Tweetin’ and I see all of that,” the lyrics read.
Diggs would later clap back, reposting the NFLPA event video again with a ninja emoji.
Nabers and Diggs will get their first shot at playing against each other on Sept. 26 in East Rutherford, N.J. during Week 4 on “Thursday Night Football.”
The teams will meet again in Dallas during Week 13 on Thanksgiving.
Nabers will immediately slot in as quarterback Daniel Jones’ top option on the outside after the Giants selected him with the sixth overall pick in April’s draft.
Diggs, who has been one of the top corners in the NFL during his first four seasons, is coming off an ACL tear suffered before Week 3 last year.
The Giants rookie receiver will try to reverse a troubling trend for Big Blue against their NFC East rival.
The Cowboys have won 13 of their past 14 matchups dating back to 2017, including each of the last six.
