DeMar DeRozan’s time with the Chicago Bulls is over.

The Kings are acquiring the 34-year-old free agent guard in a three-year, $74 million sign-and -trade deal, according to an ESPN report on Saturday.

Sacramento is trading forward Harrison Barnes and an unprotected 2031 pick swap to the San Antonio Spurs while shipping guard Chris Duarte, two second-round draft picks and cash to the Bulls, sources told the website.

The DeRozan trade gives the Kings a Big 3 of their own in the Western Conference, teaming the veteran with All-Star guard De’Aaron Fox and All-Star center Domantas Sabonis.

DeRozan — a six-time All-Star who will turn 35 next month and is heading into his 16th NBA season — is coming of a strong three-year run with Chicago.

He made the All-Star team in the first two seasons with the Bulls and averaged 24 points, 4.3 rebounds and 5.3 assists this past season while also finishing second to Stephon Curry for the NBA’s 2024 Clutch Player of the Year Award.

This news comes after DeRozan traveled to Sacramento on Saturday to meet with team officials and coach Mike Brown, who signed a contract extension with the Kings this offseason, after leading the Kings to back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2006.

The Kings will be the fourth team for DeRozan who previously was a member of the Raptors, Spurs and the Bulls.

The three-time All-NBA selection has an impressive career, averaging 21.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists through his 1,110 career NBA games.

DeRozan, a three-time All-NBA selection, was the ninth pick in the 2009 NBA draft by the Toronto Raptors, and he has played for the Raptors, Spurs and Bulls across his 15 NBA seasons.

He has averaged 21.2 points, 4.4 rebounds and 4.1 assists through his 1,110 career NBA games.

As for the Spurs, they bring on the 32-year-old Barnes to bring another veteran presence, along with Chris Paul who signed with the team as a free agent, to play along side Rookie of the Year Victor Wembanyama.

San Antonio, who are taking Barnes in their remaining cap space to make the deal work, also gets a durable and a solid offensive player.

He who played 82 games in each of his past two seasons, and last season, the forward averaged 12.2 points and three rebounds, while shooting 47.4 percent from the field and 38.7% from 3-point land.
