Snoop Dogg nearly got put in the dog house.
Simone Biles’ mother put the rapper on the spot during the Opening Ceremony for the Paris Olympics when she aired how he allegedly blew off her and her four-time gold medal-winning daughter nearly 14 years ago.
“The Today Show’s” Hoda Kotb was joined by the “Drop It Like It’s Hot” musician to interview the Biles family on Friday as they prepared to watch her compete in her third Olympic games.
However, during the interview, Kotb pointed out that Simone Biles’ mother, Nellie, has some history with the West Coast rapper.
“Snoop, I don’t know if you know this, but Simone and you have known each other for a long time. Right, Nellie?” Kotb revealed.
“How? How Nellie?” a bewildered Snoop asked.
“I will never forget that we met you in Times Square. 2010,” Nellie Biles told the “Gin and Juice” rapper.
“And you said—’cause we asked for a picture—two minutes. One, two, and you were gone.”
But the Olympian’s mother was only busting Snoops’ chops, which the whole crew had a short laugh about before quickly switching the subject.
Biles, 27, was noticeably absent from Team USA’s boat entrance on the Seine at the 2024 Olympic Games opening ceremony.
But, her mother revealed it was all for a good reason.
“The first [gymnastics] competition is Sunday, which is women’s qualifier and, of course, she needs to rest up before that competition,” Nellie Biles, told Kotb.
Biles’ highly anticipated return to the Olympics comes three years after she shockingly withdrew from the Games in Japan to focus on her mental health.

However, Nellie reassured Kotb, 59, that her daughter is “feeling really good” this time around.
“I spoke to her this morning and she’s doing great,” her mother said. “She’s just in a really good place.”
2024 PARIS OLYMPICS
Biles qualified for the US women’s gymnastics team in June alongside teammates Suni Lee, Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, and Hezly Rivera.
The star gymnast appeared to tweak her leg while warming up on a floor exercise and left the arena partway through Sunday’s qualifying round.
She was heard on camera saying she felt something in her calf.
But nothing was stopping the seven-time medalist from performing.
She took the floor and displayed a routine set to Taylor Swift’s “Ready For It,” leaving audience members awestruck.
The routine — notably the hardest in the world — was solid and earned her a 14.600, guaranteeing her a spot in the event finals next week.
After completing the routine, Biles could be seen gingerly walking off the floor before receiving a hug from her longtime coach, Laurent Landi.
US gymnastics coach Cecile Landi said the issue with Biles’ leg popped up a couple of weeks ago and was minor.
Her coach added that there was no discussion of pulling Biles’ from the event.
