Bears safety Jonathan Owens couldn’t be happier for wife Simone Biles as she blazed her way to four medals, including three golds, in the 2024 Paris Olympics.
“Unreal!!! People wouldn’t understand man. Warriors,” Owens said in a quote-tweet on social media explaining the mental and physical difficulty that is needed to complete 17 routines in Paris.
Owens added in another quoted post, “I love you so much baby so proud.”
The history-making Olympian posted an Instagram pic of her new hardware, which featured three gold medals and one silver medal.
“More than my wildest dreams,” Biles said.
“So so proud of you baby,” Owens also commented on that post.
The Bears granted Owens permission to go to the Olympics and miss parts of training camp to cheer on his wife.
He signed a two-year contract with Chicago this past March after spending a year with the Packers.
Owens, 29, previously said that when he first started dating Biles, he had no idea how successful she was as an Olympian.
He certainly knows now as Biles has the most Olympic medals (11) earned by an American gymnast.
Seven of those 11 are gold.
Biles, who stands at 4-foot-8, did not medal in the balance beam final Monday after falling off the beam.
She did rebound by earning silver in the floor routine that wrapped up her 2024 Paris Games.
Still, Biles was thrilled with her four-medal performance in five events.
“Just a reminder that my wife is THE S–T,” Owens said after Biles won her third gold medal.
Biles was “bawling” her eyes out after she completed her final competition at the Olympics.
2024 PARIS OLYMPICS
“I was so proud, happy, bittersweet that the journey’s over. It’s like, it’s so crazy. It happened so quick, my third Olympics,” Biles said.
Biles told “TODAY” on Tuesday that she and Owens eventually plan to start a family, however, she has kept open the possibility of competing in the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles.
