The rolling Mets have found a reason for concern.
Jeff McNeil exited in the sixth inning of Friday’s game at Citi Field against the Reds with what the team called a right wrist contusion that will require testing on Saturday.
An inning earlier, the second baseman showed bunt but pulled his bat back as a Brandon Williamson curveball plunked him on the wrist.
McNeil appeared to be in some pain and got checked by a trainer, but he remained in the game — and completed a double play with a strong throw to first in the top of the sixth inning.
But by the time his spot in the order arrived in the bottom of the inning, McNeil exited and Harrison Bader took the at-bat.
Jose Iglesias, who is the backup, slid over to second in the seventh inning.
