Tyrese Haliburton’s girlfriend reacts to Game 4 triple-double

Pacers point guard Tyrese Haliburton and his girlfriend, Jade Jones had a sweet moment on the court after his triple-double helped Indiana beat the Knicks’ 130-121 in Game 4 for a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday night.

The couple hugged and Jones jumped up and down in excitement on the sidelines at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, where Haliburton was the hero of the night — posting 32 points, 15 assists and 12 rebounds and four steals without a turnover for the Pacers in Game 4.

“TRIPLE DOUBLE HIMMMM,” Jones wrote on her Instagram, including a snapshot of Haliburton.

The couple began dating while they were students at Iowa State, where Haliburton played college basketball and Jones was a cheerleader.

Haliburton and Jones celebrated six years together in April.

That same month, he was voted as the most overrated player in the NBA by other players in an anonymous survey conducted by The Athletic.

Haliburton has been clutch for the Pacers throughout their playoff run.

The two-time All-Star sent Game 1 of the ECF to overtime with a long jumper that bounced high off the back of the rim and in to tie the game at 125-125 as time expired in regulation last week. Indiana rolled in overtime to seal the win.

The Pacers eliminated the Bucks in the first-round series behind Haliburton’s go-ahead layup with 1.3 seconds left in overtime that gave them a series-clinching 119-118 victory in Indianapolis.

“I’m just trying to be aggressive, trying to respond. I feel like I let the team down in Game 3,” Haliburton said after Game 4. “So it was important for me to come out here and make big plays.”

Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals shifts back to Madison Square Garden Thursday night in New York.

“I’m excited about it,” Haliburton said of playing at The Garden. “It’s a tough environment to play in but we gotta be ready. It’s just one more game.”
