Ron “R-Truth” Killings has become the most interesting part of John Cena’s retirement run.
Cena cut a promo on SmackDown last week about how everything in his storyline is going to plan. But what’s going on with Killings, both on and off screen, doesn’t feel a part of that.
Killings is the wild card while working on one of the defining runs — and maybe the last — of his WWE career.
Killings was supposed to be released, until fan and locker room support led to his return less than a week later, so anything he did couldn’t have been part of WWE’s plan when Cena’s heel turn started.
