Marton Fucsovics and Denis Shapovalov are very different tennis players.
While Fucsovics is built like a house and relies on his consistency and endurance to grind out results, Shapovalov is a dynamic shotmaker who wants to get on the front foot every chance he gets.
Fucsovics is your classic high-floor, low-ceiling player, while Shapovalov is the opposite.
The two ATP Tour veterans have split their four previous meetings, none of which ended in straight sets.

Shapovalov looked as if he were going to be a force to be reckoned with at this event after making it to the third round in 2019 and quarterfinals in 2020, but the Canadian’s career has been up and down since then, and he’s yet to make another memorable run here.
The last four tournaments represent where “El Shapo” is at in his career.
The 26-year-old lost in Round 1 at Wimbledon, won a title without dropping a set at Los Cabos, and then lost his first match in both the Canadian and Cincinnati Masters.
Fucsovics, meanwhile, is coming off his third career title after winning the 250-level tournament in Winston-Salem, N.C. last week.
It’s anybody’s guess what version of Shapovalov we get on Tuesday, but bettors can feel confident that Fucsovics won’t yield an inch and will do everything he can to hang around long enough to pounce on the opportunities that inevitably come in a best-of-five set match against a talented but inconsistent opponent.
