Two referees were dragged to the ground in a massive brawl during the Packers-Steelers game at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on Sunday night.

Things got chippy after a Steelers punt as the Packers had a 22-19 lead in the fourth quarter.

The referees said Steelers linebacker Nick Niemann instigated the scuffle with the Packers and a flag was thrown.

Multiple players on both teams got physical and two referees were collateral damage, as they were knocked to the ground while trying to break it up.

Steelers outside linebacker Nick Herbig received an unnecessary roughness penalty that cost Pittsburgh 15 yards.

“I just feel like we had some discipline issues and some penalties, unnecessary,” Rodgers said. “And you’re not going to win a lot of games when we’re so bad on third down (1 for 10). Boz (Chris Boswell) bailed us out with four incredible kicks. But, playing good teams we need to score touchdowns and we just stalled out in the high red zone.”

The Packers host the Panthers (4-4) at Lambeau Field in Week 9, while the Steelers are back at home for a clash with the Colts (7-1) on Nov 2.
