Blue Jays’ injured star still could see action in World Series

Not biting on Thursday’s bet menu.

Nervous as a pet porcupine at a child’s balloon party with our $500 World Series wager still in the balance.

You know you are in for a looong night when country star Brad Paisley sings the national anthem. Paisley sang the anthem for both 18-inning World Series games at Dodger Stadium.

No truth to the rumor Paisley sang at Brooklyn Nets camp before their looong season started.

It was over faster than you can say, “What size is your ring finger, Mr. Mattingly?”

Three pitches into the game the Jays led 2-0.

Davis Schneider and Vladimir Guerrero Jr. took Blake Snell deep.

They never looked back.

Final 6-1. Big trouble.

Still down -499 drysdales.

Why Trust New York Post Betting

The one and only Stitches has been handicapping baseball, daily, for the Post since 2019. Miraculously, he has finished in the black twice. But wait there’s more. He showed his versatility by winning the Post’s NFL Best Bet crown last year.
