The Real Slim Shady had everyone’s attention during the Thanksgiving Day halftime show.
In Detroit for the Lions-Packers game, Eminem made a surprise appearance alongside headlining performer Jack White, rocking a Lions letterman jacket and his classic white hood up over his head.
Eminem theatrically arose from a platform with pyrotechnics to the 2002 hit “Till’ I Collapse,” as the crowd went wild before the conclusion of the show.

White also performed a rock-and-roll parody of the Eminem hit song.
Legally named Marshall Mathers, Eminem was the executive producer of the Lions’ Thanksgiving halftime show alongside his manager, Paul Rosenberg.
The two came together as part of a multi-year partnership to produce and oversee the show.
Eminem grew up in Detroit before rising to fame and becoming a cultural icon for the state of Michigan.

This is Eminem’s first year serving as the executive producer of the halftime show, and he went with White, who is also a Detroit native.
It was not expected that Eminem would perform, but the surprise was met with an overwhelming excitement in the Packers-Lions game.
It did not, however, rally the troops for the Lions, who lost the game to the Packers, 31-24, in a critical home game with loads of implications for their division.
With the win, the Packers improved to 8-3-1 as the Bears lead the division (8-3), set to play the Eagles on Friday.
The Lions are now firmly in the hole of battling for a wild-card spot in a crowded NFC playoff picture.
