Aaron Rodgers is still leaving the door open for a return to football next season.

Speaking with a gaggle of reporters at Steelers practice on Wednesday, the Pittsburgh quarterback said he has not yet made a decision on whether he wants to retire following this season.

“Listen,” Rodgers said. “I’m thinking about this week. But obviously I’m 42 years old and I’m on a one-year deal. So you know what the situation is. Whenever the season ends, I’ll be a free agent. So that’ll give me a lot of options if I still want to play.

“Maybe not a lot of options, but there’ll be options I would think. Maybe one or two if I decide I still want to play.”

Rodgers, who previously stated he was “pretty sure” 2025-26 would be his swan song, said he’ll eventually talk things over with his wife and come to a conclusion “down the line.”

For now, however, the future Hall of Famer made it clear he’s focused on Sunday’s pivotal matchup with the Ravens.

The winner of the “Sunday Night Football” game will punch its ticket to the postseason as AFC North champions.

Kickoff at Acrisure Stadium is slated for 8:20 p.m. ET.

If the Steelers lose and it does ultimately end up being Rodgers’ last game in the black and yellow, the veteran signal-caller told media members he’s thoroughly enjoyed his one year in Pittsburgh after two disastrous seasons with the Jets.

“Everybody in Pittsburgh has been fantastic to me on and off the field,” he said. “It’s really what I was hoping for with this experience. It’s been even better than what I was hoping.”
