Starmer Pressured to Resign Over Ambassador’s Ties to Epstein

The British Prime Minister Keir Starmer has been left on politically unstable ground as more political figures call for his resignation over his appointment of the former ambassador to the United States, Peter Mandelson, who has close ties to Jeffrey Epstein.

“I have to be honest about failure wherever I see it. The situation in Downing Street is not good enough. There have been too many mistakes.” “The Mandelson saga tells you all that you need to know. Its depth, the numbers of people it involves, the sheer level of corruption is probably the biggest political scandal we’ve seen for 100 years. And it’s not as if the P.M. wasn’t warned. Everyone knew that the bloke was a wrong’un.” “I think Keir Starmer, at first, I thought he was good when he first came in. However, my opinion’s changed a lot. I think he’s pretty terrible now, especially with the whole Mandelson thing going on. I do have — I think he’ll last the week. But yeah.” “I think it might be a difficult week for him, but I think he probably will survive, yeah.”
