Baseball’s most endlessly entertaining team is headed to New York.
The independent league Savannah Bananas have two upstate “banana ball” games scheduled this week.
First, the rowdy club will play the Party Animals at Syracuse’s NBT Bank Stadium on Thursday, Sept. 14 at 7 p.m.
Then, two days later, the raucous squad will face off against their Party Animal foes once again in what will be the final game of their 2023 season at Cooperstown’s Doubleday Field on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m.
Yes, the Bananas are headed to the Baseball Hall of Fame.
And yes, tickets are just as expensive as always.
At the time of publication, general admission passes start at $182 before fees on Vivid Seats.
Because the Bananas play at smaller minor league stadiums, demand is higher than your average major league games.
