Anthony Joshua released his first public update since he was in a car crash that killed two of his friends and team members in Nigeria.
He posted a picture on Instagram on Sunday of himself sitting on a couch with his mother, according to the Associated Press, and three other women.
Joshua, a former unified heavyweight boxing champion, captioned the post, “My Brothers Keeper.”
He was visiting Nigeria just 10 days after beating Jake Paul via sixth-round knockout in a lucrative bout in Miami, which was streamed on Netflix, when the crash occurred.
Joshua, the son of British-Nigerian parents, reportedly made around $92 million from the fight.
Latif Ayodele, a trainer, and Sina Shami, a strength and conditioning coach, died in the accident.
Joshua attended their funerals on Sunday, multiple outlets reported.
The car they were traveling in — Joshua was not driving — struck a stationary truck in Lagos last Monday.
The driver, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving, according to BBC.
During a hearing at Sagamu Magistrates’ Court on Friday, Kayode was also charged with reckless and negligent driving, driving without due care and driving without a valid driver’s license, the outlet reported.
Footage from the scene of the crash showed Joshua, 36, visibly shaken and being helped out of the damaged car after the crash.
He sustained injuries and was taken to the hospital, but was discharged on Wednesday.
He was on his way to visit relatives for New Year celebrations at the time of the crash, per BBC.
“I have spoken with AJ to personally convey my condolences over the passing of his two close associates, Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami in the recent accident,” Nigerian president Bola Ahmed Tinubu previously said in a statement. “I wished him a full and speedy recovery, and prayed with him.”
