Linda Holliday had jokes and some weren’t laughing.
Holliday — who dated Bill Belichick for 16 years before he got together with his current girlfriend, Jordon Hudson — dressed up as “Kill Bill” for Halloween, as seen in a photo that surfaced Tuesday on social media.
The blonde beauty donned a yellow and black outfit to recreate Uma Thurman’s character, Beatrix Kiddo, and she carried a fake samurai sword.
Holliday, 61, who previously served as the president of the Bill Belichick Foundation, told critics to “lighten up” in a message on her Instagram Story.
“Can everyone please stop being offended by absolutely EVERYTHING? Ya’ll would have never survived in the Eddie Murphy, Andrew Dice Clay, etc etc days,” she said. “Shoot you wouldn’t survive the late night talk’s shows like Jay Leno or David Letterman.
“For the love of God, laugh a little. Lighten up. Everything isn’t an attack…..”

Holliday didn’t name Belichick 72, who’s dating a 24-year-old former college cheerleader at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts, or share further details.
Holliday wore her “Kill Bill” costume during a night out with some girlfriends, according to the “GoJo and Golic” podcast with DraftKings analysts Mike Golic Jr. and Mike Golic Sr.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Holliday shared another quote, which read: “A sense of humour helps us to get through the dull times, cope with the difficult times, enjoy the good times and manage the scary times,” one slide read.
“It’s not subtle,” Golic Sr. said. “This is not a subtle costume at all, right? Pretty detailed.”
Golic Jr. chimed in with, “Subtle as a sledgehammer.”
They went on to speculate if there is some bad blood between the longtime former partners.
“Listen, while it is their lives and they can do whatever they want and I’m not gonna sit here and put numbers on — age is just a number thing — on love for Bill Belichick and whatever he wants to do,” Golic Jr. said.
“But I cannot imagine what those women’s group chat looks like over the last number of months culminating in this costume. It has to be some of the most hateful things on planet earth.”
It’s unclear exactly why Holliday and Belichick split in 2022.
The news of Belichick and Hudson’s relationship broke in June — five months after his mutual split with the Patriots after 24 years and six Super Bowl titles in January.

At the time, the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach and former pageant queen were seen enjoying a boat ride together aboard Belichick’s $225,000 boat — named VIII Rings.
Belichick and Hudson are said to have started dating after his split from Holliday
They met on a plane ride in 2021, according to TMZ.
