Budding stars, overrated teams to know for women’s March Madness

March Madness has already begun. 

The first round of the men’s NCAA Tournament started Thursday, while the women’s First Four was completed. 

For those of you who procrastinated, there’s still time to submit your picks for the women’s NCAA Tournament, but not a lot. 

The women’s first round tips off Friday at 11:30 a.m., with 11th-seeded Iowa State playing eighth-seeded Michigan in the Birmingham 3 Region.
