The Yankees have another All-Star, though he is replacing a teammate.

Carlos Rodón is headed to Atlanta for Tuesday’s Midsummer Classic, MLB announced Friday. The left-hander is taking the spot of Max Fried, who is scheduled to start his last game before the break on Saturday.

Rather than Fried trying to pitch in the All-Star Game on two days’ rest, Rodón will take his place after starting Friday’s game against the Cubs.

Rodón, who joins Aaron Judge and Jazz Chisholm Jr. on the American League team managed by Aaron Boone, is now a three-time All-Star.

He entered Friday with a 3.30 ERA and 127 strikeouts across 111 2/3 innings and 19 starts.

Fried pitching in the All-Star Game would have been something of a homecoming for the former Brave, who spent the first eight years of his big league career in Atlanta.

But Boone had indicated last month that his schedule might not line up for him to pitch in the game, which ended up being the case.
