A Chicago sports radio host “has the week off” following a social media exchange where he appeared to threaten to dox another user after getting into a disagreement with the person.
Dan Bernstein, the midday show co-host on 670 The Score, got into a social media beef with a user on X after the person accused Bernstein of killing a fish that the show host caught and took a picture of himself with last week.
That led to Bernstein seemingly challenging them to a fight and later asking the person if he wanted his address and phone number made public — while claiming to have both.
“Do I worry you yet?” Bernstein wrote before asking if the person wanted their kids involved.
Marshall Harris, Bernstein’s co-host, started Monday’s show by announcing that Bernstein was off for the week without making mention of the social media situation.
The Score and Audacy, the station’s parent company, have not publicly addressed the situation.
Camp One Step by Children’s Oncology Services — a charity that Bernstein is involved with — announced on Sunday that Bernstein had been “removed” from their board of directors for “comments on social media that don’t reflect our mission.”

During the back-and-forth, Bernstein also alleged to know where the person worked and had previously worked.
The radio host also continued to try and engage with the user after they stopped responding.
Bernstein has been in the news in the past after he had a poor reaction to a fill-in host calling him by his last name.

Bernstein chided Barstool Eddie, who had been filling in on another program for the station, which led to Barstool founder Dave Portnoy declaring war on The Score 670 host.
During Monday’s show, Harris hosted the program along with Leila Rahimi, a fellow personality at the station.
