Brandon Aiyuk’s speedy drive by the 49ers’ stadium has the attention of local police.
The Santa Clara Police Department is “aware” of the video the disgruntled wide receiver posted to YouTube on Saturday in which he recorded himself driving over 100 mph during a joyride.
“At this point, the video is being reviewed, and further details can be provided when available,” a spokesperson told TMZ.

The 27-year-old, who at one point reached 111 mph, hit 104 mph in a Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing as he passed the stadium, which he has not played in this year.
Last October, about two months after ending a contract saga by signing a four-year, $120 million extension, Aiyuk tore his ACL and MCL and he hasn’t played since.
Aiyuk has not been present for meetings and other team activities while on the physically unable to perform list, The Athletic reported last month, which didn’t sit well with team brass.
The 49ers then voided his guaranteed money for 2026, and Aiyuk told the NFLPA he did not want to file a grievance, per the report, an indication that he’s ready to move on from the franchise. Aiyuk’s option bonus for next year was $24.935 million, according to The Athletic.
Last week, days after the team gave Aiyuk a “reserve/left squad” designation, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters he hadn’t seen the receiver “in a month.”
A first-round pick in 2020, Aiyuk had 60 catches for 748 yards and seven total touchdowns as a rookie, and followed that up with 56 catches for 826 yards and five touchdowns in 2021.

He broke out in 2022 with 78 catches for 1,015 yards and eight touchdowns, and in 2023 he recorded 75 catches for 1,342 yards and seven touchdowns.
Before his injury last season, Aiyuk had 25 catches for 374 yards and zero touchdowns.
