A new Cowboys fan is on the way.
Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott and his fiancée, Sarah Jane Ramos, are expecting their second daughter together in May 2025, Ramos revealed Tuesday in a profile for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit.
“It’s really special to be a female in this world in this day and age and to watch your siblings grow up and be empowered, taking notes and using you as an example, but [also] being themselves and growing into what makes them their own person,” said Ramos, who grew up with sisters.
“It’s so beautiful to watch and I can’t wait to do the same with MJ and watch Dak become a girl dad, part two. He’s perfect. He’s the best girl dad ever.”
Prescott and Ramos, a certified wine and spirit specialist, welcomed daughter Margaret Jane Rose in February 2024.
The pair, first linked in 2023, announced their engagement earlier this fall.
“Obviously parenting brings a new element to your relationship because it’s not about you two anymore, the priority is your child,” Ramos, 31, told Sports Illustrated Swimsuit. “But [parenting] makes you understand your partner on such a deeper, emotional level, and it’s definitely brought us even closer. It’s a blessing.”
Prescott, 31, celebrated the joyous news Tuesday, posting on his Instagram Story: “Count your blessings.”
It’s been a rollercoaster season for the three-time Pro Bowler, who underwent season-ending surgery in November to repair a partially torn hamstring.
Two months earlier, Prescott — the Cowboys’ starting quarterback since 2016 — agreed to a four-year, $240 million contract extension that boasted $231 million in guaranteed money and an $80 million signing bonus.
Before the injury, Prescott threw 11 touchdowns against eight interceptions through eight games.
The Cowboys, who turned to backup Cooper Rush, are currently 5-8 on the season after a 27-20 loss to the Bengals on “Monday Night Football.”
