Dave Portnoy wants this college student put behind bars for even thinking about going to the rack in a double-digit game where the outcome was decided.

The Barstool Sports founder had a wager on Yale +12.5 against Texas A&M, and in an 80-69 game, saw Aggies player Hayden Hefner drive to the basket with 23.3 seconds left instead of just milking the clock down and taking their victory in stride.

Thankfully for Portnoy, Hefner lost control of the ball under the basket as the Aggies guard attempted to ruin a cover for the Bulldogs.

“‘What an a–hole,’ Portnoy said on a DraftKings live stream while sitting next to Dan “Big Cat” Katz. “That guy is a piece of s–t. Who is that guy? That guy should be in prison.”

Yale would turn that mistake into points the other way, with the Bulldogs eventually losing 80-71.

“Whoever this kid on A&M is trying to score should be in prison. Almost backdoored me on Yale +12.5,” Portnoy wrote in a social media post.

The reaction from the Barstool contingent left Portnoy and Katz wondering why Hefner would even consider trying to score with the game’s outcome decided and the Bulldogs not fouling to extend the game.

Portnoy is a known gambler on just about everything, previously winning (and losing) large sums of money on the NFL, the Masters and horse racing.

His wagers on DraftKings are used as a promotional tactic as Barstool Sports and the sportsbook are locked into an exclusive eight-figures-per-year betting partnership.
