Miami Dolphins (+11.5) over NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS
Week 18 is about finding a team with something to play for.
Despite being out of the playoff picture, the Dolphins appear to fit that bill.
You can safely say that about Quinn Ewers, who will be getting his third career start behind center.
Ewers looked solid in a surprising win over the Bucs — a team that needed a win just as bad as the Patriots do this week — last Sunday.
The Patriots still have a shot at the No. 1 seed on paper, but it appears unlikely to happen as they need the Broncos to lose against a Chargers team that is expected to sit Justin Herbert and other starters.
Having gone 6-3 since starting the season 1-6, last week showed Miami still has some fight in it.
Look for the Dolphins to keep it close in a game that isn’t a must-win for a banged-up New England team.

DENVER BRONCOS (-11.5) over Los Angeles Chargers
On the other side of the spectrum, it appears that the Chargers are mailing it in during Week 18.
Having locked in a Wild Card spot, meaning they’ll be playing on the road during the first round of the playoffs no matter what, Herbert won’t play, and plenty of other starters will likely be sidelined come game time Sunday.
The Broncos, on the other hand, have about as much to play for as anyone in the AFC aside from the Ravens and Steelers.
Betting on the NFL?
All Denver needs is a win to lock up the No. 1 seed and a first-round bye.
Sean Payton and Co. would want nothing more than to have the AFC go through the Broncos and Mile High.
Expect a laugher in favor of the Broncos.
LAST WEEK: 0-2.
2025 SEASON: 14-20.
