Donte DiVincenzo is officially in the Knicks’ record books.
The guard broke Evan Fournier’s single-season record for 3-pointers made with his 242nd basket from beyond the arc with 1:44 left in the second quarter during the Knicks’ game against the Spurs in San Antonio on Friday night.
DiVincenzo has been worth every penny of the four-year, $50 million contract he signed this past offseason, giving the Knicks a valuable secondary scoring source to take the load off Jalen Brunson.
He set the Knicks’ single-game 3-point record Monday against the Pistons with 11 makes during an incredible 40-point night.
The Villanova product entered Friday’s game hitting 40 percent of his shots from 3-point land.
