The NBA finally brought the hammer down on Draymond Green after his third ejection this season added to the long list he has accumulated over his 11-year career.
The Warriors star was suspended indefinitely by the league after striking Suns center Jusuf Nurkic with a spinning backfist during the third quarter of Golden State’s loss on Tuesday night, the NBA announced on Wednesday.
He will have to meet certain league and team criteria before being allowed to return.
Green, 33, was assessed a Flagrant 2 and booted from the game.
He has already served a five-game suspension earlier this season after putting the Timberwolves star Rudy Gobert in a headlock on Nov. 14.
Green has now been ejected 19 times during his NBA career.
