The Steelers WAGs had glamorous visions in mind for their “Monday Night Football” experience.
For the Steelers’ Week 2 matchup against their division-rival Browns, celebrity makeup artist Allison Kaye curated “super different” looks for some of the significant others of Pittsburgh players, including Hillary Trubisky, the wife of veteran quarterback Mitch Trubisky.
“Hillary wanted something very natural — no fake lashes, nothing too crazy, so I essentially just took her natural beauty and enhanced,” said Kaye, who “warmed up her face with some bronzer and blush.”
In addition to Hillary — who has been married to the Steelers’ backup quarterback since July 2021 — Kaye worked with Casey Holcomb, the wife of linebacker of Cole Holcomb, and Alyssa Highsmith, whose husband, linebacker Alex Highsmith, opened game with a defensive touchdown.
“They were so excited,” Kaye said of the ladies, who went on to celebrate the Steelers’ 26-22 victory — their first win of the season.
“Victory Tuesday!!” Hillary posted in an Instagram Story. “Defense was on [fire].”
Alyssa also shared a replay of Highsmith’s early pick-six in an Instagram Story, when he intercepted Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson and ran it back for the Steelers’ first score.
“Proud of you,” she gushed of Highsmith, whom she married last summer. “Just a casual pick 6 to start the game MNF things.”
As for Casey, who wed Holcomb in June 2022, she sported a “full glam” look at Acrisure Stadium, which consisted of lashes and a “little wing of eyeliner,” according to Kaye.
“MNF with my Mullet Man!” she said of Holcomb, who recovered a crucial fourth-quarter fumble.
Up next for the Steelers?
A trip to Las Vegas, where they’ll face the 1-1 Raiders, who are coming off a lopsided 38-10 road loss to the Bills.
“Sunday Night Football” between the Raiders and Steelers kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET on Sept. 24.
