Here’s the good news for the 10 NFL franchises conducting coaching searches this offseason: The class of new hires can’t possibly fare worse collectively than their 2022 predecessors.
Right? Right?
The last time that there were 10 vacancies In one offseason was 2022 — and eight of those 10 incoming coaches already have been fired.
Only the Vikings’ Kevin O’Connell and Buccaneers’ Todd Bowles remain. The Giants, Dolphins and Raiders are part of both the 2022 and 2026 carousels.
