For the first time since 2022, the Kansas City Chiefs will not be playing on a Sunday in February.
Instead, this year, Drake Maye’s New England Patriots and Sam Darnold’s Seattle Seahawks are bringing new blood to the Big Game when they meet at Santa Clara’s Levi’s Stadium on Sunday, Feb. 8 for 2026’s Super Bowl 60.
If you’d like to see these two upstart clubs battle in what The Athletic calls “the unlikeliest Super Bowl matchup ever” with 48,000-to-1 odds, tickets are available.
At the time of publication, the lowest price we could find on sites like Ticketmaster, StubHub and Vivid Seats was $6,119 including fees on GameTime.
100-level seats start at $8,713 including fees on StubHub.
As a refresher, Bad Bunny will handle halftime show performance duties; Green Day, Brandi Carlile, Charlie Puth and Coco Jones are also slated to rock the Bay Area’s 68,500-seat stadium.
This is New England’s first trip to the Big Game since 2019 when Tom Brady and the Pats beat the Rams 13-3 in the lowest-scoring Super Bowl ever. The last time Seattle advanced this far was 2015. Russell Wilson and co. fell 28-24 to…Tom Brady and the Patriots.
The year before, the Seahawks beat Denver 43-8.
According to The Post, “the Seahawks are a 4.5-point favorite to win the Super Bowl at FanDuel Sportsbook, with the Over/Under initially set at 46.5 points.”
Ahead of the 2025 season, Seattle was given 60-1 odds to advance this far; New England trailed them with an 80-1 shot.
“What does Natasha Bedingfield say? It’s unwritten? Something like that,” Darnold, 28, said after the Seahawks’ 31-27 nail biter NFC Championship victory against the Los Angeles Rams.

For those who have never been out to the Bay, here’s a look at all the views Levi’s Stadium offers from the stands to see Maye and Darnold face off live.

About the Patriots vs. Seahawks matchup
Over the course of their 49 years playing each other (dating back to 1977), the Seahawks and Patriots have played 20 times.
Seattle currently holds an 11-9 edge over New England, although, as mentioned above, the Pats won when they met in the 2015 Super Bowl.
Most recently, the clubs squared off in September 2024. In that cutthroat contest, Jason Myers kicked a field goal in overtime to secure a 23-20 victory for the ‘hawks.
Over the course of the ’25 regular season, the Seahawks went 14-3, won the NFC West and secured the best record in the NFC, which came with a bye in the Wild Card round and home field advantage through the postseason.
In their two postseason matchups, Seattle made quick work of their divisional rival, the 49ers, in the Divisional Round and beat them 41-6. Their NFC Championship showdown with the Rams was much tighter and they held on for an impressive 31-27 win behind Darnold’s 346 passing yards and three touchdowns.
New England had a similar fairytale season. After 2024’s rough 4-13 campaign, new head coach Mike Vrabel turned things around and the Patriots finished the year 13-4, which was good enough to land them the second seed in the AFC through the playoffs. Wins over the Chargers, Texans and Broncos returned the once-dominant club to the Super Bowl.
