For the first time ever, there’s going to be NFL football on Black Friday.
Friday isn’t traditionally a day for football (in fact, there’s only been eight instances of NFL games on a Friday since 1978!), but Amazon and Prime Video are looking to start new holiday traditions with their inaugural Black Friday Game.
The first Black Friday Football game is a divisional matchup between the New York Jets and Miami Dolphins, who haven’t yet played each other during the 2023-24 season, and comes following a rocky week for the Jets and another win for the Dolphins.
And since Black Friday isn’t just for football, you already know there’s going to be ample opportunity to score the savings we all know and love Amazon for.

How to watch Black Friday Football:
Black Friday Football is airing exclusively on Prime Video, and unlike a normal Thursday Night Football broadcast, you don’t have to be an Amazon Prime subscriber to watch today’s game. It’s available to watch free for everyone; you’ll still need to log in with an Amazon account, but they’re free to make if you don’t have one already.

Keep a close eye out, because seven exclusive deals will be launching all throughout the game for Amazon Prime subscribers. So, even though you can watch the game without a Prime membership, you’ll need one to shop.

As we noted above, you don’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime subscriber to watch Black Friday Football, but you’ll need to have an Amazon account at the very least.

Yes! The game is not restricted to Amazon Prime subscribers this week.

What time does the Dolphins vs. Jets game start?
Kickoff for Dolphins vs. Jets is set for 3:00 p.m. ET. Pregame coverage begins at 1:45 p.m. ET on Prime Video.

The first Black Friday Football game will be played just miles away from the retail capital of the nation, New York City. The Miami Dolphins visit the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.
