Jackson Mahomes’ appearance at Super Bowl 2025 to watch his brother — and Chiefs star quarterback — Patrick Mahomes included a stop for a photo with President Donald Trump, according to a post on his Instagram story Sunday.
Mahomes didn’t add a caption to the photo, but he placed his right hand on Trump’s back as the president gave a thumbs up toward the camera.

It’s unclear at what point during the game the photo was taken, but the Chiefs were appearing to huddle near the end zone with a full crowd watching instead the Caesars Superdome.
Trump became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl and predicted that the Chiefs would win, and he was shown on the jumbotron saluting during the national anthem.
He called Mahomes “a good winner” in the leadup to the game.
“It’s always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president,” Mahomes told reporters this week in New Orleans. “Someone that is at the top position in our country.”

By halftime, though, the Chiefs were already down 24-0.
Patrick Mahomes struggled while completing just 6-of-14 passes for 33 yards and two interceptions, including a picks-six, across the opening 30 minutes.
One of the interceptions was returned by rookie Cooper DeJean for a touchdown, which gave Philadelphia a 17-0 lead in the second quarter.
Then, after Mahomes’ second interception, the Eagles scored again two plays later — when Jalen Hurts connected with A.J. Brown — and extended their commanding advantage heading into halftime.
