Dutch speedskater Jutta Leerdam left the Olympic Village in style, carrying her gold and silver medals with a Hermès Birkin bag while on fiancé Jake Paul’s shoulders, as seen in an Instagram video shared Thursday by the boxer.
The couple, who got engaged in Italy last March, were seen boarding a private plane after Leerdam’s first-place finish in the women’s 1,000m speed skating competition with a time of 1:12.31, a new Olympic record.
“From now on call me Jutta Leerdam’s fiancé,” Paul captioned the post.
Leerdam said she was leaving the Olympic Village in a TikTok video Thursday.
“It has been a wild ride and I’m leaving with gold and silver and a [Hermès] Birkin,” Leerdam said, flashing her expensive designer bag.
“I just feel so blessed with my amazing team around me.
“I decided two years ago not to sign with any big team, but create my own. And they did amazing and we really are a family now.

“My own family is just my support system. They’re my everything — even if I wouldn’t have gotten any medals they would have been there for me… and now I’m an Olympic champion.”
It’s certainly been a “wild ride” for Leerdam, who was dubbed a “diva” entering this year’s Winter Games after arriving in a private jet.
She brushed off the noise by claiming gold in last week’s 1,000m speed skating event, when she edged Dutch teammate Femke Kok.
2026 WINTER OLYMPICS
Paul bawled his eyes out while hugging his mom, Pam, and Leerdam’s mom, Monique, in the stands at the Milano Speed Skating Stadium after Leerdam won gold.
Leerdam took home silver with a second-place finish to teammate Kok in the 500-meter speedskating race Sunday.
She burst into tears and had mascara running down her face after winning gold.
Leerdam opened up about being judged for her looks, specifically her winged eyeliner and make-up on the ice, in an Instagram post Thursday.

“This moment proves you don’t have to become less of yourself to achieve something great,” Leerdam wrote, including a close-up photo of her crying. “That your looks don’t define you as a person or as an athlete. That if you work hard and stay determined, it will all come together.
“It’s so ironic because my winged eyeliner and make-up are something I’ve been judged for during my whole career, when all it ever did was give me confidence and make me feel feminine and powerful.
“The pressure I’ve felt, the judgment I’ve dealt with around so many things, the hard work I’ve been putting in for so many years all came together in this moment.”
