The Jets have a new protector on the offensive line for Aaron Rodgers.
The team is expected to sign ex-Cowboys tackle Tyron Smith, a source confirmed to The Post’s Brian Costello.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported the one-year deal could be worth up to $20 million.
The eight-time Pro Bowler and two-time All-Pro was not expected to return to Dallas in free agency, NFL Network reported earlier in March.
After dealing with injuries the past few seasons, Smith, 33, rebounded in 2023 to earn a second-team All-Pro spot.
He graded at an 83.8 on Pro Football Focus last season.
The move comes after the Jets added guard John Simpson and re-acquired tackle Morgan Moses at the start of the new league year.
This is a developing story
