Jets teammates react to Kris Boyd shooting

Jets players woke up to devastating news when they learned that their teammate, cornerback Kris Boyd, was in critical condition after getting shot in Manhattan early Sunday morning.

Added Harrison Phillips, New York’s defensive tackle: “Father God, we come to you right now, asking for your healing power over KB. You are a God of miracles. Lord, place your mighty hand on him as he fights lord God. Guide every doctor, nurse, and surgeon who touches him lord. Give his family strength! Kris is a fighter and we’re all here for him.”

Boyd, 29, was shot in the abdomen outside Sei Less restaurant in Midtown around 2:00 a.m. after a dispute turned violent, law enforcement sources told The Post.

The gunman, who has not been identified, fired two shots and fled the scene in a blue BMW X8 SUV, sources said.

Authorities have not identified Boyd as the victim in the shooting, but confirmed he was taken to Bellevue Hospital, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

The Jets, off Sunday after losing Thursday to the Patriots before taking on the Baltimore Ravens on Nov. 23, provided The Post with a brief statement as this crisis unfolds.

“We are aware of the situation involving Kris Boyd and will have no further comment at this time,” said a team representative.
