The Knicks made a change to their G League roster Friday by signing guard Charlie Brown Jr. to an Exhibit 10 contract.
Brown,a Philadelphia native who played collegiately at Saint Joseph’s, appeared in four games for the Knicks’ entry in the Summer League in Las Vegas after averaging 13.4 points per game last season for the Delaware Blue Coats, the G League affiliate of the Philadelphia 76ers.
An Exhibit 10 contract is a one-year deal for minimum salary and no other bonuses, according to the Sporting News.
NBA teams can convert the contract, which is usually not guaranteed, into a Two-Way deal.
It also allows teams to waive the player without incurring a hit on their salary cap.
The Knicks also waived guard Obadiah Noel, who appeared in 29 games last season for G League Westchester.
