Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff sealed their season-opening win with a kiss.
After leading his team to a 21-20 victory over the reigning champion Chiefs, Goff ran over to his fiancée, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model, Christen Harper, who was cheering him on in the stands at Arrowhead Stadium Thursday night.
In a video Harper shared on Instagram, the couple held hands and shared a kiss before Goff headed back to the visitor’s locker room for a post-game celebration.
“Biiiiig fan of 16,” Harper wrote in her caption, referring to Goff’s jersey number with the Lions.
The brunette beauty, who snapped a selfie of herself walking into the stadium, wore a black tank top with Goff’s name and number on the front.
Harper also shared the cute clip of the couple to her Instagram Story, and wrote: “My lil [Lion].”
In a separate post on her Instagram Story, she wrote “LFG” over a video that showed Lions fans celebrating the Week 1 win in the stands.
Goff, who proposed to Harper in June 2022 after three years of dating, shared a brief exchange with the model, however, it is unclear what was said.
Harper, 30, is a staple at Goff’s games, and the couple lives together in Michigan during the NFL season.
Goff completed 22-of-35 passes for 253 yards and a touchdown against the shorthanded Chiefs.
Kansas City was without their top defensive lineman Chris Jones, who is holding out for a contract extension, as well as superstar tight end Travis Kelce, who hyperextended his knee in Tuesday’s practice.
Jones reportedly watched the game from his suite at Arrowhead Stadium, according to NBC Sports.
After the game, Goff explained the Lions had a productive off-season after missing the playoffs in January — and praised Detroit’s defense for carrying the team to a season-opening victory.
“A lot of work has been put in this offseason, and you want to start off winning the first one, and we did that today,” Goff said.
“We didn’t play the best on offense, I thought the defense kept us in the game, but we found a way.”
The Lions’ home opener against the Seahawks is on Sept. 17.
