Mets bolster bullpen by re-signing Ryne Stanek after impressive playoff run

The Mets have added another potent back-end arm to a bullpen that looks strong.

Ryne Stanek, who was a force during the Mets’ postseason run, has agreed to return on a one-year pact, The Post confirmed.

The Mets’ bullpen also will have Reed Garrett, Dedniel Nunez, Sean Reid-Foley and perhaps Jose Butto, among other possibilities.

Stanek was excellent in the postseason, in which he allowed three runs in eight innings that included a marathon seven-out outing in a Game 5 win over the Dodgers.

The fireballer just kept pitching because the exhausted Mets needed him.
