If you thought the Detroit Pistons were bad, the Washington Wizards are certainly giving them a run for their money as the worst team in the NBA this season.
Washington has not won a game since Jan. 29 and, despite some near misses in February, has lost 16 straight. The Wizards now own the worst record in the NBA.

The Wizards’ next chance at a victory is at home Friday against the Hornets, and while odds have not yet been released it could be their second-best chance at a win in their final 20 games.

We could expect the Wizards (9-53) to be moderate underdogs against the Hornets (15-47) on Friday.
If they don’t defeated the Hornets, they are +900 to beat the impressive Miami Heat on Sunday.
The next-best odds for the Wizards come in at +500 next Tuesday when they travel to Memphis for a date with the undermanned Grizzlies

Any bet on this market is essentially a parlay of the Wizards to lose every preceding game and then win the game you’re betting on.
For instance, if you bet on the Wizards to eventually get a win over the Grizzlies, you’re also implying a bet on the Wizards to lose to the Hornets (project Hornets to be roughly -150 favorites) and also on the Heat to beat the Wizards (project much more than -500).
