High-protein breads and cookie bars and first-of-their-kind plant-based cheeses and milks are some of the latest new food and beverage products released this week.
EQUII: Plain and Multigrain Bread
At Expo East this week, EQUII introduced two new products to its line of high-protein, low-carb breads — Plain and Multigrain..
The new breads contain 10 grams of protein per slice, as well as all 9 essential amino acids in the correct ratio.
EQUII’s products can be purchased through the brand’s website and Amazon, with further retail roll-out coming soon.
DAVIDsTEA x maman: Oatmeal Pumpkin Chai Cookie
DAVIDsTEA partnered with maman to release a limited-edition Oatmeal Pumpkin Chai Cookie, a comforting blend of pumpkin, aromatic species, raisins, and oatmeal.
While supplies last, the cookie will be exclusively available in select maman locations. A limited-edition Pumpkin Chai Gift Box, which includes six cookies, DAVIDsTEA’s Glass Nordic Mug, and a 3-ounce tin of DAVIDsTEA Pumpkin Chai, will also be available for purchase online, priced at $85.
Lenny & Larry’s: Cookie-fied Big Bar
Protein cookie makers Lenny & Larry’s announced the launch of their Cookie-fied Big Bar, a larger version of the brand’s original Cookie-fied Bar, in Cookies & Creme and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip varieties.
Cookie-fied Big Bar is a 90-gram chewy snack bar containing 24 grams of plant-based protein. It’s gluten-free, Certified Vegan, and Non-GMO Project Verified, and is made without soy ingredients, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, or sugar alcohols.
Both flavors of the new product are available on the brand’s website and Amazon, priced at $27.99 per 12-count package. By early 2024, single bars will also be available for purchase for $2.33 each in select convenience stores nationwide.
GOOD PLANeT Foods: Olive Oil Cheese
GOOD PLANeT Foods is welcoming the world’s first olive oil cheese, available in several flavors and formats:
- Blocks: Italian-Style Mozzarella, Greek-Style Feta, and Mexican-Style Monterey Jack
- Cubes: Tuscan Herb Mozzarella, Spicy Monterey Jack, and Sharp Cheddar
- Shreds: Mozzarella, Mexican Blend, and Cheddar
Dairy-free, gluten-free Olive Oil Cheese is made with non-GMO and vegan ingredients like olive oil and real herbs and vegetables.
Consumers can find GOOD PLANeT’s Olive Oil Cheese at Sprouts locations nationwide, with national roll-out to Whole Foods and several other retailers this Fall.
Mooala: Three-Ingredient Plant-Based Milk
Mooala is changing the plant-based milk game with its new Simple line, the first-ever organic plant-based milk line made with just three ingredients — filtered water, organic oats or almonds and sea salt. This shelf-stable line is available in Almond and Oat varieties.
All Mooala’s plant-based milks and creamers are certified USDA-organic, and the Simple line is taking it a step further by also including no gums, fillers, or oils.
Six-packs of Simple plant-based milks are available on Amazon for $36.99.
