Rent prices are expensive anywhere across Manhattan as demand soars, but if you’re hoping to live in a luxurious penthouse in Tribeca, you might want to brace your wallet.
The listing for the penthouse at 56 Leonard St., which is just around the corner from the New York Law School and New York Academy of Art, is seeking a monthly rent payment of $123,000.
The penthouse is also available for sale, but that price wasn’t listed.
The 6,000-square-foot, six-bedroom, 4.5-bath penthouse sits on the 56th floor and has views of the entire city and bridges, which can be enjoyed on either of the two outdoor terraces, according to the listing from Timothy Melzer with DouglasElliman.
The home, which was built in 2016, boasts 14-foot ceilings, wood-burning fireplaces and “one of the largest living rooms in Manhattan.” There’s a laundry list of amenities as well, including a pool, hot tub, steam rooms, a gym, theater and valet parking.
And if you have some money left in your pocket after making that monthly rent payment, you can add a luxury tier package, which can include a full- or part-time driver, housekeeping, chef, and choices of art to rent, among other options.
Even for Manhattan, $100,000+ per month is a lot. The average rent in the city currently stands at $3,794 per month for a 603-square-foot apartment. Then again, most NYC offerings don’t have a view of One World Trade Center from their dining room.
