Paul Bissonnette vows to ‘ruin’ lives of attackers in restaurant brawl

Former NHL player Paul Bissonnette said he’s “so fired up” to seek vengeance against the men who allegedly sparked a brawl at a restaurant in Scottsdale on Saturday, which resulted in him being hospitalized.

During the latest installment of his “Spitting Chiclets” podcast, the “NHL on TNT” analyst went into detail about his involvement in a brawl with a group of “drunk golfers” that started inside a Houston’s restaurant and spilled into a CVS parking lot in a strip mall.

“Thankfully the cops were called right away while the thing was going on in Houston’s,” Bissonnette said while recalling the incident. “And by the time the altercation was done, [police] were able to book five [or six] of these guys… whether it was in the county jail or the local jail — and I’ll get their names boys and this is gonna be a thing. I’ll go after every single one of those f–ks for not only going after this unbelievable staff.”

Warning: Explicit language

Bissonnette explained that he goes to that Houston’s location three or four times a week and he “felt the need to step in” when he saw the men getting physical with the restaurant staff.

“Maybe I bit off more than I could chew, but I wouldn’t change one thing about what I ended up doing,” he said. “I know I ate a few and I know that I am in rough shape. I had to go to the hospital after. I think the whole ordeal probably lasted about three to three and a half minutes… I was pretty gassed.”

Bissonnette went on to share that the incident was captured on a surveillance camera.

“There is one guy that is still out there. I’m thankful they got it all on surveillance. I’m so fired up right now. I would be willing to waive every single charge if I could go inside a barn somewhere and go 1v1 — every f–king guy, one after the other. I’m gonna do what I can to ruin these guys’ lives and their f–king a–holes. I kind of want my vengeance at this point. Maybe things will change when things calm down.

“But it was the first time I’ve been in a situation like that. I’m just glad I didn’t get KO’d on the ground there because they probably would have boot f–ked my head off.”

Bissonnette said a man wearing a lime green golf shirt was an antagonizer in the alteration.

“I ate three kicks, one in the neck and two in the head,” he said, adding that his shirt was ripped off and he lost his shoes.

Sean Daley, 29, was taken into police custody on Monday at 12:15 p.m. and was charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor, a Maricopa County jail official said, per TMZ.

Bissonnette also addressed the situation in a video posted Monday on his X account.

“It was a bunch of drunk golfers, things obviously continued to escalate,” he said. “They asked one guy to leave. And then one guy kept getting in the manager’s face and put his hands on him.

“… I went over I just grabbed the guy’s arm that was on him and I said, ‘Sir if you continue to harass and assault this staff, we’re going to have problems,’ and then they just started chucking.”

Bissonnette added that he’s “very angry” and wanted the assailants’ names made public so they can “pay the piper.”
