GLADSTONE, Mo. – Thurs., Aug. 15, 2024 – Join The Center for Food Integrity (CFI), Oct. 22-24, at Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel, for the CFI Transparency Summit 2024 as industry leaders come together to create actionable strategies for integrating transparency across the food and agriculture value chain.
Building upon the success of last year’s event, the 2024 program will focus on specific steps the food system can take to be more transparent.
“In today’s environment transparency is no longer optional, consumers demand it,” said Mickie French, CFI executive director. “This year’s Summit provides the expertise, resources and tailored strategies to implement transparency. It’s a business imperative vital to growth and success.”
The CFI Transparency Summit 2024 brings together stakeholders and leaders from all facets of the food and agriculture value chain.
Attendees will hear from industry leaders representing companies and organizations including Walmart, FMI – The Food Industry Association, Bayer Crop Science, NielsenIQ, CFI, Consumer Brands Association, Mangaso Consulting, McClaren Partners, Wilkinson Livestock LLC, United Soybean Board, Illinois Farm Bureau, Burnbrae Farms, Iowa Farm Bureau, Source Certain International, GS1 US, Trustwell, Salveo Partners and more.
Specifically, this year’s event includes expert-led, hands-on workshops where participants will learn the pillars of transparency, work through case studies and develop action plans for their companies so they leave with practical tools to build and enhance transparency across their organizations.
In addition, the Summit will feature the latest research on consumer demands and a dynamic consumer panel discussion that explores consumer expectations for transparency and what influences their decisions. A special kick-off session includes veteran New Yorker cartoonists Paul Noth and Pat Byrnes, who offer an entertaining and creative take on embracing transparency.
