The Mets moved one win away from punching their ticket to the National League Championship Series.
Home runs from Pete Alonso and Jesse Winker, along with RBIs by Starling Marte and Jose Iglesias helped lift the Mets to a 7-2 Game 3 win over the Phillies in the NLDS.
Sean Manaea pitched seven innings while giving up just three hits and striking out six batters in the playoff victory.
Alonso put the Mets in the lead in the bottom of the second when he hit a solo shot to right field followed by Winker’s blast to the upper deck in right field in the bottom of the fourth.
Marte’s single in the bottom of the sixth scored two more runs and Iglesias singled in the seventh to drive in another pair of runs.
Francisco Lindor drove home the Mets’ seventh run of the game in the bottom of the eighth.

The Phillies scored their only runs of the game on the top of the eighth of RBI singles from Bryce Harper and Nick Castellanos.
Tuesday was the Mets’ first game at Citi Field since Sept. 22 against the Phillies and they will have the chance to advance at home on Wednesday evening.
