Reproductive health company Stork Club announces expanded offerings in 100 countries

Family and reproductive benefits care company Stork Club announced its services will now be available in 100 countries through employers with global coverage.

Stork Club provides reproductive care benefits for employers and their employees, offered as an employee benefit, with virtual visits or in-clinic care options that include fertility services, newborn care, maternity and return-to-work services, and menopause care.

The company also announced it is offering dedicated Care Partners globally. These reproductive care experts are knowledgeable about local legal, healthcare and financial regulations, and are available through the Stork Club app.

Stork Club also offers Direct Pay, which allows patients to prepay for care without a benefits card, aiming to improve the member experience by cutting out middlemen and moving away from card payments.

“We’re proud to be able to build out such an expansive global network of high-performance providers to enable U.S.-headquartered employers with teams outside of the country to offer a truly excellent care experience while providing access to critical reproductive care,” Jeni Mayorskaya, CEO and founder of Stork Club, said in a statement.

“We know that outsourced call centers and virtual benefits cards have their limitations, so we are leaving those in the past by creating a new healthcare experience where Stork Club-covered members have an easier way to pay so they can simply focus on their health and achieving their reproductive health goals.”

THE LARGER TREND

Stork Club launched in 2020 with $2.7 million in seed funding provided by Bowery Capital and Slow Ventures.

A year later, it raised $30 million in Series A funding in a round led by General Catalyst.

The family-building company added several new fertility centers to its network in 2023. Five Utah Fertility Centers and Neway Fertility in Manhattan partnered with Stork Club for in-clinic care.

In September of 2023, Stork Club partnered with CCRM Fertility clinics, giving Stork Club users access to 37 fertility clinic locations, including ones in the Boston and Dallas areas.
