Taylor Swift fans believe the pop superstar’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, wasn’t the only member of his family to get a shoutout on her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department.”
Jason Kelce, the older brother of the star Chiefs tight end, is suspected to be something of a muse on Swift’s song, “The Alchemy,” due in part to the lyrics: “Shirts off and your friends lift you up over their heads/ Beer stickin’ to the floor, cheers chanted ’cause they said.”
The newly retired Eagles center — who called it a career last month after 13 NFL seasons in Philadelphia — made headlines in January during Travis’ playoff run with the Chiefs, when he ditched his shirt in Buffalo and became one with Bills Mafia during Kansas City’s 27-24 divisional-round win.
“The ‚Shirts off‘ Line in The Alchemy is definitely about Jason Kelce and I love it #TSTTPD,” one user posted Friday on X.
Another user wrote, “Taylor referencing @JasonKelce taking his shirt off in The Alchemy is the greatest part of the album. #TaylorSwift.”
Elsewhere on the social media platform, fans called for the Kelce brothers to discuss the apparent references on this week’s episode of their “New Heights” podcast, which drops Wednesday.
“I JUST KNOW that @JasonKelce it’s gonna mention “The Alchemy” on the new heights podcast and I can’t wait,” one supporter shared Friday on X.
“.@JasonKelce @Brandon_Borders @newheightshow y’all have 1 job this week to bring up so high school or the alchemy,” another expressed.
Travis and Swift’s post-Super Bowl celebrations appear to get a nod in “The Alchemy,” which includes the line, “Where’s the trophy? He just comes running over to me.”
Moments after Travis, 34, captured his third Super Bowl win with the Chiefs in February, he celebrated on the Allegiant Stadium field with Swift, also 34.
The 14-time Grammy winner also seemingly referenced the nine-time Pro Bowler on the track, “So High School,” singing, “You know how to ball, I know Aristotle.”
The “New Heights” X account leaned into the Swiftie speculation Friday, posting, “Those Papa Kelce impressions are just so good,” to echo the line, “Do that impression you did of your dad again,” featured in “So High School.”
First linked last summer, Swift flipped the internet on its head last September when she attended her first Chiefs game to support Travis.
She attended 13 games in total last season.
The couple has been enjoying some downtime together before she resumes her blockbuster Eras Tour next month.
Swift will kick off the European leg of shows on May 9 in Paris.
It’s been speculated Travis will visit her overseas.
